Welcome

I am an artist, not a writer. My Intent is not to educate, enlighten or inspire but rather to clarify my motivations to myself. I find that when I write down the thoughts and reasons that I take certain paths, it helps me to avoid repeating the same mistakes over and over again. Let's face it, authentic work evolves through a series of mistakes, lessons learned and options eliminated.

  5. kunsthafen, Yes Mystic is a good word. This piece harks back to my Native American heritage.

  6. David, I'm as ready as I'm ever going to be. I managed to have enough new pieces that I could afford to make choices.

  7. Hi Mary, the problem was that the title of the show required that I have 30 new pieces and that I would finish number 31 at the opening with audience participation ( is that scary or what ). As I mentioned to David, I actually finished enough that I had the ability to make choices. Thanks for your support and confidence.

  8. Bill, I was tossing the unread Guide section of the DMN and happened to glance at the Guide Picks section. Sooo glad I did that. Look forward to seeing you and your fantastic creations in person. The image you have posted is intriguing. I like the inviting imagery and mystery. You are amazing! Marianne P.

  11. Bill and Anita! It was an absolute thrill to see you guys at your show tonight. My two friends, Kathy and Holly, were inspired and awed by your body of work. Thank you for the honor of a collaboration. I'm still reeling from the experience. Your images are strong, unique and so inviting. Touching them allows the viewer to participate as you know. You were quite masterful with the crowd and presenting your process to onlookers. Keep your humble and generous manner that everyone loves!!

  13. We all loved being there, Bill. I must admit, when you handed me the little cup of color, my heart was in my throat for a brief moment. Then I took in your wonderful passages of color and jumped right. Thank you. It was an honor. This is your creation through and through. Your presence standing next to me gave me courage. NO, not anyone can do this. Just like a master chef, so much goes on behind the scenes, including decades of hard work.
